Marked Fairs, Marked Results

We visited our first fair in 1995.

Our first fair participation experience was in 1997. Our first fair organization was in 2006. Until this moment, we had the chance to go to many countries from Asia to Europe as either exhibitors or visitors of dozens of fairs.

In 2006, we had become one of the sales representatives of a fair organized in Germany, which we dreamed of being a participant and opening a stand, with an offer we received with references. In 2007-2011-2015, we were one of the sales representatives of some fairs organized in Germany, Spain, Italy and India. Now we could go to fairs as both exhibitors and representatives.

By sitting on both sides of the table, we could see the pros and cons of the fairs we participated in on the one hand, we knew the expectations and demands of the companies from the fairs. On the other hand, how to organize a fair with the fairs we were sales representatives? We were learning this from the world’s most successful fair organizers.

In 2014, we started to ask ourselves the question, “Why don’t we organize fairs?” In order to be successful, it was necessary to experience it in Turkey first.

We prepared our first project on commercial taxis and transportation alternatives, which had never been organized in our country, and we cooperated with one of the successful fair organizers of our country and organized TAXIWORLD TURKEY fair.

It was like a dream for us and we were happy to organize a fair that was not organized in our country under the name of another organizer organization, even in partnership.

It was time to organize fairs on our own behalf, rather than constantly being a participant of other fairs, sales representative and doing your project under the name of another organizer. Our experience, our knowledge, our effectiveness in the field, and above all, the trust of the sectors we were in was complete. We had a strong reference.

When we came to 2016, we decided to establish İzgi Fuarcılık Ltd. with the slogan “FAIRS THAT LEAVE A MARK, RESULTS THAT LEAVE A MARK”.

We did a long research and realized that unlike in Europe, fair organization in our country was concentrated in Istanbul, Anatolian fair organization was forgotten, and Anatolian cities could not get the share they deserved from fair organization.

We had to organize a fair in such a city that it would be close to Central Anatolia, Aegean and Mediterranean basins and a bridge to the East and Southeast. In addition to being an exporter with a high fair culture, investments had to be continuous. With its investments, production in different sectors, exports and economic structure, Denizli was the city that met all the criteria for us.

In 2017, we organized the 1st Aegean TMF – Aegean Textile, Apparel Machinery, Textile Printing Technologies Fair with the participation of 11 direct foreign companies from 7 countries and a total of 107 companies with the support as well as the opinions and suggestions of the Textile Machinery Sector, which we have been involved in for many years.

Our fair, which was successfully realized with the support of NGOs and companies in Denizli, opened its doors 4 times in 2019, 2021 and 2023. In addition to being the biggest fair of the Eurasia Region in the years it was organized in the sector, it has become the first international fair of Denizli. Now we are excited to realize the 2nd biggest meeting of the sector in the Eurasia Region in 2025.

Taking into account Denizli’s economic structure and investments, we managed to sign one of the biggest real estate fairs of our country in 2018 and 2019. ” DEYEF – Denizli Real Estate and Construction Industry Fair, which we have organized twice with the slogan “THE HOUSE YOU DREAM OF, EVERYTHING YOU DREAM OF FOR YOUR HOME”, has set an example in our country with its content and concept. The economic developments in the housing sector, the pandemic, and the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş had a negative impact on the fair and the fair could not carry itself to the next years, and it will be organized again with the recovery of the sector.

As İzgi Fuarcılık, we tried to be researcher, innovator and perfectionist at the same time. While it was our priority to meet the demands and expectations of our exhibitors, to organize a fair that is not tiring but easy and out-of-the-box, the maximum benefit obtained by the visitors from the fair was the determining factor to carry our fairs into the future.

In 2021, we opened the doors of the first fair worldwide after the pandemic. We organized Turkey’s first domestic and national machinery technologies fair consisting of 90% national production and 100% domestic textile machinery. Billions of liras of trade took place in our fair, which provided life water to our companies. In the shadow of the pandemic, we have shown that a fair can be organized in a closed area when precautions are taken and the reality of the sentence “We are enough for us”. EGE TMF Denizli fair had become the most talked about subject of the sector both at home and abroad.

İzgi Fair Organization had now ignited the fuse of Anatolian fair organization. Denizli was perhaps among the top 3 cities in our country with the income it obtained from the fairs we organized. From other cities
